LEARNING TO LEARN: training course

For the training course ‘Learning to Learn’, 14th – 23rd October 2016 in Vadul Lui Voda, The Republic of Moldova.

Together with our partners, we are looking for participants from Bulgaria, Denmark, Georgia, Italy, Moldova, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Armenia and Ukraine.

Summary

The training course is a 8-working day activity in Vadul Lui Voda, The Republic of Moldova, gathering 30 participants from Bulgaria, Denmark, Georgia, Italy, Moldova, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Armenia and Ukraine. The training will take place on the 14th – 23rd October 2016, the 14th being arrival day and the 23rd being departure day.

The training aims to provide youth leaders with methods in non-formal education and skills in facilitation and conflict resolution. Additionally, the objective is to provide youth leaders with knowledge upon how the Erasmus+ program can be utilized for improving education of young people and help youth leaders to be able to provide more effective non-formal educational activities to young people.

The training will include interactive exercises, workshops, presentations, discussions and group work.

The training will be conducted in English and translation will not be provided. Therefore, the participants are expected to have a good level of English, both written and spoken.

Participants profile

In order to participate, the candidates should be over 18 years old and must fulfil the following requirements:

• Be a youth leader, a peer leader or actively involved in the civil society;

• Have a good conduct in English;

• Be able to attend the entire training;

• Be committed to multiply the results of the training in the local communities.

Candidates who do not fulfil the above requirements will not be considered, and hence be taken off the list.

LEARNING TO LEARN: study visit

For the study visit ‘Learning to Learn’, 16th – 23rd February 2017, Slettestrand, Denmark.

Together with our partners, we are looking for participants from Bulgaria, Denmark, Italy, Romania, Spain, and Sweden.

Summary

They study visit is a 6-working day activity taking place at Slettestrand in Denmark, gathering 28 youth leaders from Bulgaria, Denmark, Italy, Romania, Spain, and Sweden. The study visit will take place at the 16th – 23rd February 2017 (16th being arrival day and 23rd being departure day).

The aim of the study visit is to enhance youth organizations’ effectiveness in promoting non-formal and alternative education among young people by sharing best practices with youth leaders on promotion and implementation of alternative ways of education. Denmark has a long history of learning outside the frame of formal education, therefore, participants will be able to familiarize themselves with many types of other educational possibilities. Additionally, the visited institutions will provide inspirations regarding promotion of non-formal and alternative education among young people.
